This Privacy Policy explains what data Fortely ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use our automated website monitoring service (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of our marketing site and to registered account holders.
We collect the following categories of information:
We use the information above to:
We use essential cookies set by our authentication provider to keep you signed in. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Service. If that changes, we will update this policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with the following categories of service providers ("sub-processors") strictly so they can help us run the Service:
We retain account and scan data for as long as your account is active, so you can view historical trends. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information and site configuration within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (for example, billing records) by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most account and site data yourself from the dashboard, or contact us to make a request. You can unsubscribe from non-essential email digests at any time; we'll still send transactional alerts tied to a service you've actively configured, unless you delete the underlying site or account.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Fortely is operated from the United States, and the infrastructure providers we use may process and store data in the United States or other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in a country other than your own.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here with a new "last updated" date.
Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your personal information, can be sent to hello@fortely.io or via our contact page.
